Your wedding day is one of the most significant days of your life. A marriage ceremony, conducted by a civil celebrant, is a non-religious legal ceremony, giving you a considerable amount of flexibility to create a personalised and meaningful celebration that reflects your values, personalities and beliefs. 

Whether you are looking for a traditional, contemporary, relaxed, or formal ceremony, it will allow you to declare and celebrate the special bond publicly and the love you and your partner have for each other.

Although civil ceremonies are non-religious, that does not mean that you can’t incorporate elements of a religious ceremony. You may wish to include prayers, a blessing, or hymns. This is entirely your choice.

I am proud to say that I have always been an enthusiastic supporter of marriage equality.  On Saturday 9th December 2017, I was overjoyed when all people who wished to marry were recognised equally under Australian Law.

I also recognise that all couples do not necessarily wish to conduct a formal marriage ceremony, so I can also perform a commitment ceremony for you so you can celebrate your love and devotion in the company of those closest to you. A commitment ceremony can be as meaningful and significant as any legal ceremony. I would be honoured to meet you to discuss your vision for your wedding ceremony, whether a formal lawful occasion or a commitment ceremony. We will work together to realise an occasion that reflects your story and lingers in your minds as you commit yourselves to a future together.

My Wedding Package Inclusions:

A no-obligation initial meeting to ensure that we feel comfortable working together and to discuss any plans and ideas you have for your ceremony.

• Unlimited meetings at my office and as much telephone and email contact as needed.

• Preparation and writing of your unique wedding ceremony with your full editorial control.

• To assist you in planning your ceremony, I can provide an extensive selection of readings, poetry, marriage vows, the exchanging of rings, rituals and other ceremony ideas.

• Large-print, laminated copies of readings or poems for each of the readers.

• The holding of a rehearsal, preferably at the venue, so that everyone knows what is expected of them on the day, ensuring your ceremony runs smoothly.

• A professional PA (public address).

• The preparation and lodgment of all necessary legal documentation with the appropriate Births, Deaths and Marriages office in your state.

• Assistance with other aspects of your wedding, including recommendations for other service providers.

Above all, I will do everything I can to ensure that your ceremony is as stress-free as possible, enjoyable, memorable and meaningful.
